The Local 802 Musicians Union, the Associated Musicians of Greater New York chapter, is working hard with WIJO to build an effective and positive organization, and to support women in jazz.

Stanford Jazz Workshop

Steven Lugerner, Manager of Education Programs / Camp Co-Director, has reached out to WIJO on behalf of the Jazz Mentor Fellowship Program, to consult on building the diversity of the program; as well as helping to ensure an equal jazz education to all students involved in the workshop.

Jazz After Hours / Jazz Happening Now

Host Jeff Hanley is a big supporter of WIJO, featuring WIJO members on his PRI radio shows "Jazz After Hours" and "Jazz Happening Now". He also helps spread the word about the organization, and WIJO member gigs through his radio show, related website, and social media.

Seattle Women In Jazz

Seattle Women In Jazz Founder/Director/Board Member Jessica Davis is working with WIJO to collaborate and join forces.  SWIJ hosts concerts throughout the year, among other fantastic projects and events for women in jazz in the Seattle area.
